Hardware Overview π§
Our high-performance cluster contains 22 GPUs!
- 8Γ NVIDIA L40 GPUs (Datasheet)
- 4Γ NVIDIA RTX A6000 GPUs (Datasheet)
- 10Γ NVIDIA RTX 6000 Ada GPUs (Datasheet)
- 768 vCPUs in total
- 4 TB RAM across compute nodes
These are housed in a Lambda Scalar server, purpose-built for AI research and deep learning workloads. β‘οΈ Lambda Scalar Datasheet

Access for Students π
Students working on research projects, thesis work, or coursework can access to our high-performance infrastructure.
We support GPU-based workflows in:
- Training large models such as vision transformers, deep CNNs
- Working with large datasets for deep learning and simulations
- Serving open-source large language models (LLMs)
This is your playground β take full advantage of it.
Among the Best in the Netherlands π³π±
With this setup, our department hosts one of the most powerful AI compute clusters in the Netherlands available to students. It places us at the forefront of applied AI education and research.
