Edirlei Soares de Lima, Ph.D.

Lecturer

Edirlei Soares de Lima is a Lecturer and Researcher in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Games at Breda University of Applied Sciences. He has been conducting research in these areas for over 16 years, particularly in the development of new methods of Artificial Intelligence for Games and Interactive Narratives. His research has proposed new forms of generation, interaction, and representation of interactive narratives in contexts ranging from games to interactive cinema, exploring multiple domains of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. Over his career, his work and research have received several awards and honors, including multiple best paper awards at the International Conference on Entertainment Computing and the Brazilian Symposium on Games and Digital Entertainment.
