Zhanna Kozlova, M.A., M.Sc.

Lecturer

Zhanna has been teaching at BUas since 2018, with a primary focus on business. Her background is in online marketing, where data insights are crucial, alongside meeting customer needs and developing customer-focused solutions.

Before transitioning into academia, Zhanna held various roles across multiple industries. Notably, she worked for Harvard Business Review Magazine at Sanoma and for Cosmopolitan Magazine. Her professional experience also includes positions at Hasbro (you probably know My Little Pony and Furby), Digidentity, and Color Control Group. Throughout her career, Zhanna has combined practical expertise with academic insight, contributing to innovation and strategic development in data-driven decision-making.

At Applied Data Science and AI, Zhanna teaches a wide range of business-related topics. Her main goal is to help students learn how to make ethical decisions while developing customer-focused AI applications—solutions that not only offer great functionality but also deliver value to businesses and their target markets, while remaining compliant with legal requirements and regulations.
